Jamie Oliver 'Gastrodome' Presentation CD


Brief : Jamie Oliver was looking to extend his brand into the digital space by attracting sponsorship deals for his new 'GASTRODOME', and potential e-commerce tie-ins with Sainsbury's and JamieOliver.com.

To do this Jamie Oliver was inviting venture capitalists to invest in the vibrant young chef and his team - what he needed was a high-impact CD presentation.

Overview : Working with a director programmer and the consultancy Deloitte's (as well as Jamie's own band to produce the sound!) a CD was developed using Macromedia Director.

The CD had all the required investor information - whilst giving Jamie a brand identity that could be built upon in the future using some highly visual motion graphics and video sequences.

Results : Jamie Oliver cooked for all the production team at a special event when the CD was released to investors ...The project however didn't develop any further in the form developed for the CD.

However one of the projects was destined for later success. The'Gastrodome' core idea became what is now 'Fifteen' ... but in a far more philanthropic form rather than a purely commercial enterprise.
